Has there been a more visionary, insightful comedian than the late George Carlin?

So much of his material was incredibly accurate at the time but seems even more relevant and true today. He was a man ahead of his time, mixing comedy, philosophy and social commentary to perfection.

One only wonders how disgusted he would be with the state of the world today.
